John Forbes is attending the Atlanta Urban Mediamakers Film Festival this October 14-17. The Nina Foxx film "Closer to Crazy' is being filmed. The screening is at 6:45 pm on Saturday October 16th. This is a great Film Festival and a huge step forward for Atlanta in the film industry. I scored the music to a reality show that screened last year titled "She's Got IsShoes".

John Forbes was raised in Pensacola,Florida. The son of a music store owner and pipe organ designer, John studied music with Harrison Newkirk for 14 years before going on to summer workshops at Berklee College in Boston. After playing in a regional reggae band for a few years, John moved to Austin, Texas and then to California.
