Grammy Nominee Ann Nesby

Ann NesbyFinished work with Grammy nominee Ann Nesby on a song for the World Cup. I composed and recorded the string arrangement as well as recorded additional lead vocals of Ann. The Sounds of Blackness choir were also featured on this track singing backing vocals. The song is being mixed by Paul Marino of XeoJax Studios in Minneapolis.

About

John Forbes was raised in Pensacola,Florida. The son of a music store owner and pipe organ designer, John studied music with Harrison Newkirk for 14 years before going on to summer workshops at Berklee College in Boston.  After playing in a regional reggae band for a few years, John moved to Austin, Texas and then to California.
